Here we are with Sleigh Ride Saga, my 2023 Christmas game. I made the game for the Pico-8 Christmas Bundle, which started out life as the Christmas Advent calendar but as it became clear that there weren't enough people involved to knock out a new project every day, and considering how ambitious most of the projects were, a bundle of games close to Christmas was adopted instead.

Sleigh Ride Saga has similar movement to Flappy Bird but tasks you with dropping presents down chimneys so the gameplay is a sort of hybrid between Flappy Bird and a game like Paperboy. Despite making the movement of the sleigh far, far more forgiving than the movement in Flappy Bird, it's still pretty tricky to get the hang of the controls but hopefully people see that as part of the challenge and can still enjoy the game by smashing windows and setting off the red alert noise alarm.
