Pico-8 supports two controllers, so that's why you can find references to second controllers in the menus. Sorry to disappoint you but there's no two player in the game, unfortunately. I did consider it but ran out of time (and token space!) :)
Is there any plans to add it after the fact? As it is a known point that some dev after a game jam do get updated for QOL or feature reasons after the fact.
Glad you enjoyed it! The tutorial in the game is only very brief (there wasn't much space left in the cart by the time I got round to it) so I can understand how that can be confusing. :)

This was an interesting concept for a game :)
There is 2 controllers in the control menu which hints at this game being 2 players. If there is one how do you start the game for 2 players?

this is a really cool game : ) can you please add the .p8 or .png file to play this on pico8?
It's already posted to the Pico-8 BBS. You should be able to search it on Splore. ๐
Ok thanks
how do you break x blocks?
Ali can break blocks by jumping on them, same way as the pipes. ๐
they dont seem to have exposed tops
Ah my mistake. Yes, those are the secrets. Have a look nearby for hidden switches. Press up to interact with objects. ๐
Good concept. I should have read the description. The rings confused me a lot, and could have saved me a fair bit of pipe-stomping.
